In 2017, Hawaiian Airlines revamped their brand, updating visual identity across the board from airport signage to uniforms to digital marketing. As a part of the rebrand I and my team refreshed and redesigned nearly 300 emails–reservation confirmations, itineraries, miles statements, promotional emails and unsubscribe pages–in the new brand over the span of a year.
My favorite challenge was to design systems for reservation confirmations and itineraries–establishing some information hierarchy and bring some simplicity to these information heavy emails, while bringing in the elevated beauty of the new brand.
